FAMILY

  • FlowMedia :  Copenhagen based, German Photojournalist and good friend Simon Sticker always has an interesting upcoming project around the world. From the war-torn Black Continent or the remote indigenous tribes of SE Asia to the rock climbing and music scene of Europe, Simon makes sure his stories are told unbiased.

  • Highland Farm :  A wildlife sanctuary  since 1991, located in the remote Tak Province in Northwestern Thailand, near the borders with Myanmar. Run by Khun Pharanee Deters, with the  support of the International Primate Protection League.  If taking care of primates saved from abuse  (or just relaxing in the sun while bottle-feeding baby gibbons)  is your thing, be sure to drop by next time you’re in Thailand. After two consecutive years of volunteering there, Highland Farm is for me a home away from home.

FRIENDS

  • Scott and Paula Frier : Scott and Paula’s credentials speak for themselves. In their website I found some of the most impressive wildlife photos I’ve ever come across as well as inspiration for any aspiring wildlife photographer. Be sure to check out their guided photo-tours to where the wild things are.
  • Hop Inn :  An excellent suggestion for the exhausted backpacker looking for accommodation in Hong Kong. The owner,  Mr Simon Yu has been a world traveler for a while (and a travel-mate of mine during a short trip to Southeastern China), and will make sure your stay will be as memorable as any.
    • deBop :  THE online place to get the latest info on the alternative scene in Athens.
    • Pablo Acevedo : Pablo, besides being one of the greatest people I’ve met in all of my travels, is an experienced translator (as well as an aerospace engineer)  currently based in San Fransisco, USA.
